Light Diesel Oil, or LDO, is a blend of components from the distillation process of crude. It is used in engines with an RPM of less than 750, such as boilers and furnaces. LDO is also referred to as distillate fuel or marked oil. Light Diesel Oil is a type of diesel fuel that has a flashpoint greater than 66°C and is widely used in certain types of boilers and furnaces as basic fuel.
